"My Reiki, my Life ! "

REIKI fills the space around us with light, energy, and love. Nothing was wrong,
nothing was right, but REIKI made it all better. This is how my story with REIKI
  begins.

Imagine with me sitting in a chilly dark desert watching all the bright stars in the
vast sky. Then a very bright star catches your eye, and you start watching it.
Watching how it glows. Watching how it gets bigger in your eyes. Watching how
much relief it gives you. You start trying to grab it with your hands. You wish you
were there next to it to touch it, feel it, and wonder about it’s powers.

REIKI was that bright star that trapped my senses. I was a normal man watching
the stars, then came this star called REIKI, and added more brightness to my life.
It's like the perfect pillow you want to sleep on. That special cup of cappuccino you   want to sip. The very special red rose that gives more brightness to your life.

My mother started REIKI before me. And so did my sister. What a shame that I only   joined them months later. I missed a lot of brightness till I joined myself. I had a
lot of catching up to make, and so was determined to fill my body, soul, and senses   with as much “light” as possible. I did. And I’m glad I did it.

I am so grateful for every second I spent practicing REIKI. Master Maha Nammour
is a bright sun, who not just teaches you REIKI, but guides you through life itself.
Maha is now an important person in my life. I owe my new self to her compassion
and patience in teaching me how to breath! I am deeply in love with my mother
and sisters. And now with her.

Maha changed me completely. And here is how :

  1. I stopped nagging about things in my life. I started to accept everything,
and try to change it with common sense.
  2. I made changes to my diet. Quit eating red meat, more vegetables and
    fruits, healthier choices.
  3. I started to concentrate on living a healthier lifestyle, by loosing weight,
getting enough sleep, and waking up early in the morning, even in holidays.
  4. I started to realize how wonderful life is with everyone living with me. Life is
a bridge that takes us to a wonderful and loving God. Its not worth ruining it
    with sadness and problems.
  5. I explored myself. I now realize that I have things in my life that I truly love
but never appreciate. These can range from aggressive white tigers, to small cheerful yellow canaries. For the first time in my life, I appreciated the trees
on the street on the way to work.
  6. Energy. Do you know what it is? I didn’t. It drained out of me all the time.
REIKI gave me so much energy now that I pass it to others!
  7. I’m a quieter person. I move less while sitting down and don’t make much of
a fuss around. I am more organized and take good care of my grooming,
    looks, and objects.

When I see Maha Nammour on TV now, or read something about her in the press,
I feel proud. I’m proud that I’m her student. That I exist in a few hours of her life,   although she is in my life everyday when I practice REIKI. I smile when I see her
picture, and feel relieved when I hear her voice. REIKI has been a special
experience for me. An experience of a lifetime, which I will cherish and live with   everyday of my life.

REIKI is a way of life.
